Lance is the CEO and Founder of ProcureTech, a digital platform focused on building the digital future of procurement. He has led transformational business change, helping business leaders accelerate EBIT growth and Total Shareholder Value through procurement transformation, enterprise cost reduction, sustainable procurement, supplier management and digital procurement. Lance has worked across industry with high growth and FTSE 250 companies like Goldman Sachs, GSK, Vodafone, Roche, Jaguar Land Rover, Nokia, Jewson, Dyson, BAT, HSBC, Nissan, Tata Steel and NatWest.
He is passionate about creating and growing high performing businesses which has included EY, Ariba (EMEA MD), Goldman Sachs (Global CPO & VMO, EMEA Services CFO & GM), Vervel (CEO), Supplybase (CEO), Deloitte (Partner) and Inverto/BCG (MD). Lance has led the growth of those teams, their clients and their suppliers to consistently exceed objectives and delivery against key metrics.
Lance also champions entrepreneurs and social impact through advisory roles with the GreenTech Alliance, the Sustainable Procurement Pledge, the Prince’s Trust Business Launch Group for young people, and as a founder of Procure4Peace.org.

It will be interesting to monitor how quickly the AI "push" will move upstream in the value and supply chain. I expect a movement similar to what happened with eAuction in the early 2000's, where OEM's applied eAuction to their Tier 1 suppliers, leaving them no choice to start using eAuction for negotiation with their own suppliers (Tier 2) and so forth; with a push for digitalisation and efficiency transformation through the entire supply chain in a decade. We already see solutions where AI is applied at two levels at once, where procurement teams use AI for the own benefit and extend their AI enabler to their suppliers, accelerating the transformation to more efficiency across the supply chain ...
